My Honest Review: Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro
Are you looking for a non-stick pan that you can use with metal utensils and toss in the dishwasher? I reviewed the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro and I’m sharing my honest thoughts about whether it’s truly non-stick and if it’s worth the hype.

Are you curious about the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro? Is it really non-stick? I’ve had this pan on my wish list for the past year before finally buying it. I was first drawn to the pan because of the non-stick property claims minus any PFAS chemicals. I tested this pan on everything from pan-fried chicken to skin-on salmon to eggs to pancakes- read my review to find out what I really think.

What Is The Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro Made Of?
Surprise- the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro is not made entirely out of Titanium. It is actually a fully clad tri-ply stainless steel pan with an aluminum core. The TiO2/TiNO is then applied, molded, and thermally oxidized over the stainless steel.
How is this pan non-stick without PFAS?
Most non-stick pans on the market use a PFAS coating to get non-stick properties. Exposure to PFAS can cause health issues like increased risk of asthma, immune system disfunction, decreased vaccine response in children, changes in liver enzymes, increased risk of high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia in pregnant women, small decreases in infant birth weight and weight gain in adults.
The Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro does not have a PFAS coating. The hexagonal structure paired with the Titanium coating are what makes this pan non-stick. The hexagonal structures on the interior of the pan are based on The Lotus Effect, the name given to the water-repellent and self-cleaning properties of the lotus flower.
Our Place gives this technology the moniker “NoCo”, and it promises “the high-heat searing benefits of stainless steel or cast iron with the convenience of a nonstick effect”.
Fair warning: you do need to heat the pan for 90 seconds before using, and you need a thin layer of oil to activate the non-stick properties. Technically, you’re supposed to wait until the food is fully cooked before it releases, but I found that even before my skin-on chicken was seared, it moved around on the pan with no problems.
Why Is The Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro Different From Other Our Place Pans
Although the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro has similar dimensions to The original Always Pan and they are both non-stick, that’s where the similarities end. The original Always pan is made from lightweight aluminum coated in a nonstick ceramic coating. The Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro is a tri-ply stainless steel pan with an aluminum core, and titanium molded in a hexagonal shape is then applied.
Things I love About This Pan
You can use metal utensils on this pan– hallelujah! With other non-stick ceramic coated pans, it feels like I’m walking on eggshells using silicone or wood spoons to not scratch the surface. With the titanium pan, there are literally no worries about scratching the surface.
I love that this pan can go from stovetop to the oven and can handle high heat (up to 1000°F to be exact). I also love that it’s dishwasher safe, which is not the case with ceramic coated non-stick pans.
I can use this pan for eggs! I’ve watched all the tutorials about cooking eggs on a stainless steel pan, and mine still stick, so the Our Place Titanium Always Pro Pan is definitely a winner when it comes to scrambled eggs and other food items known to stick to most pans.
If used correctly, it really is non-stick. It sears meat perfectly.
Things I’m not so crazy about
Food particles can get stuck in the hexagonal shapes. This barely happened for me, but it is something I wanted to mention. It does sometimes take the extra step of using the scrub brush that was supplied with the pan, but any stuck on bits do release with a little extra effort.
You have to preheat the pan for 90 seconds and use a thin layer of oil. Granted, it’s not a huge deal and I’m being a little nitpicky here, but it would be nice to just skip that step.
The whole spoon rest thing is not something I will ever use. Did I pay extra for this? There is an indent on the pan where the spoon rests, so you cannot totally seal the pan with the lid for steaming.
This doesn’t bother me much, but the lid has a mirror finish and shows a lot of fingerprints.

Food I’ve Cooked On The Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro
I’ve cooked skin-on salmon, skin-on chicken thighs, lentil sweet potato cake, cheese omelet, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and pancakes on the pan. I have literally had no food stick to the pan except for a few small pieces of egg when I was scrambling the eggs.
Comparing My Field Cast Iron Skillet & My Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro
When comparing the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro to my Field Cast iron pan, the cooking surface base is about 8.5 inch diameter, whereas my Field (11 5/8 “) has a 9 3/4 inch diameter base. Weight wise, the Titanium pan is 3.4 pounds and the Field is 6 pounds. Although the Field cast iron has more cooking surface, the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro has higher sides, a 2.8 qt capacity and weighs considerably less. I still love them both, but I’m just trying to show you some differences between them.
I like that the sides are deep on the Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro so I can make stews or add pasta or rice to any recipe without worrying about spillage over the sides.
Conclusion: Is The Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro Worth It?
Yes! I’m so happy with my new Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro non-stick pan. It feels indestructible and it really is non-stick.
